A Visit To Juno Dunes Natural Area
The Juno Dunes Natural Area is a 569-acre tract of land spanning from the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway, with US-1 splitting the tract into two sections: the Oceanfront and the West Tract.
The Oceanfront tract includes a paved nature trail to a shade pavilion at the highest natural point in the county at 44 feet above sea level (trail is 0.54 miles, round trip). The observation pavilion gives you a view of the Western Tract across US-1 as well as the Atlantic Ocean to the east. Additionally, there is a .20 mile sand hiking trail to the ocean.
Parking for the Oceanfront tract is available at the Loggerhead Marine Life Center. It’s open sunrise to sunset, 365 days a year. More info can be found at discover.pbcgov.org
